Great Runes are powerful items in the Elden Ring game that can grant the player various benefits and abilities. To equip a Great Rune, the player must first find and activate it. Once activated, the Great Rune can be equipped at a Site of Grace.
There are a total of 8 Great Runes in the game, each with its own unique effect. Some of the most notable Great Runes include the Rune of the Unborn, which increases the player’s health, and the Rune of the Fell Omen, which increases the player’s damage output. To find and activate a Great Rune, the player must defeat the Shardbearer boss associated with it. Once defeated, the Shardbearer will drop the Great Rune, which can then be activated at a Site of Grace. To equip a Great Rune, the player must first open the menu and select the “Equipment” tab. From there, the player can select the “Great Runes” sub-tab and choose the Great Rune they wish to equip.
